Film Industry Training

Oklahomans are fortunate to have a variety of educational and training opportunities that support the state’s growing film industry.

For those who need to get to work ASAP, Oklahoma’s CareerTech system offers courses that are specialized and affordable. The state’s community colleges provide a broader mix of content that can be completed in two years without breaking the bank. There are even more in depth options for those seeking a four-year degree from accredited colleges or universities. We’re fortunate to also have several private companies that focus on film industry training.

Which one is right for you? That’s a personal choice.

The following educational entities are not endorsed by Film in Oklahoma. This is simply a list of educational opportunities that are committed to supporting the growth of the film industry in Oklahoma. Hopefully, it includes institutions that you’re familiar with plus a few that may not have been on your radar. Either way, it’s important to remember that you have options. And, these options aren’t exclusive. In many instances, the foundation you’ll receive through one entity will better prepare you for the workforce and advanced education and training.

Deciding which option is right for you depends on the amount of time and money you have.
